Establish a Chapter

Gen-Z On AI is calling on students across the world to stand up and lead a new wave of change. By starting a chapter at your school, you’ll help build a generation that’s informed, equipped, and ready to fight for AI that is transparent, ethical, and built for us—not used against us.

You don’t need a coding background to lead this movement; you just need the courage to ask hard questions and the drive to build something better. Our generation has been left out of decisions about our data, our education, and our futures. It’s time to reclaim our voice.

Joining the AI 4 US Movement means stepping into your power. Let’s make sure AI supports humanity, not corporate control.

Host workshops and teach-ins about AI and society

As a Gen-Z On AI chapter leader, you’ll organize workshops and teach-ins that help your peers understand the real-world impact of artificial intelligence. These events break down complex topics like algorithmic bias, facial recognition, or data privacy into accessible, relatable conversations. Whether it’s a lunch-and learn, a movie screening with discussion, or a hands on simulation, you’ll lead your school in unpacking how AI is shaping our lives, from education to employment to criminal justice. We’ll equip you with ready to use presentations, guides, and guest speaker connections so you’re never starting from scratch.

Create zines, art, and content that sparks critical conversations

Students deserve a say in how technology is used in their classrooms. As a chapter, you’ll identify tech related issues within your school like invasive surveillance software, biased grading algorithms, or inaccessible digital tools and mobilize your community to take action. That might look like meeting with your school board, starting a petition, or launching a digital awareness campaign. We’ll support you with policy templates, organizing training, and real case studies from students just like you who have successfully changed the system.

Lead campaigns for ethical technology in schools

Creativity is resistance. As part of the AI 4 US Movement, you’ll have the freedom to express your ideas through zines, visual art, videos, music, or memes that challenge dominant tech narratives. Whether you’re designing a satirical AI report card or a visual explainer on deepfakes, your chapter can become a hub for creative activism. We’ll showcase your work on Gen-Z On AI’s platforms, helping amplify your voice and inspire others to rethink what ethical tech could look like.
